I work with people who know there’s more to business than business. More to business than a set of numbers each quarter.

If you’re happy to lift those numbers by a couple of points, we’re not going to get on. Playing it safe is not what I do. Taking on the status quo and changing an industry, changing a country, that’s more my style.

What kind of consulting do I do? You know how McKinsey do management consulting? I do communications consulting. (Without the scandals, insider trading and existential crisis.) Every management problem is a communications problem. Every company is now a media company.

I’m very good at media. Warner Bros, Plan B, Foxtel, ABC, SBS. A lot of SBS. (They’re just some of the media companies I’ve helped. I’ve worked across pretty much every industry, every category. Even created a few new ones.)

I don’t skim across the surface with some nice art direction or pretty plugins. I go deeper than that. You can read some of my quick essays or open letters to see how I think.

I help uncover what organizations or corporations mean, why they exist. Not just so they can compete better, but so they can bring more positive change to the world. So they can make all our lives better.

I don’t produce artwork or television commercials or websites. There’s plenty of people to do that. I produce the thinking that inspires them to deliver more than they (or you) thought possible.

I deal in ideas, symbols, stories that add more value. Bringing them to life with smart people makes me incredibly happy. Ideas like ‘Six Billion Stories and counting…’ for SBS. I can take any piece of communication you do and make it more effective. Usually just by changing a word or two. (It’s more a curse than a skill.)
