Agggh, emotions. Those subjective, conscious experiences characterized primarily by messy psychophysiological expressions, spazoid biological reactions, and odd mental states.
Emotions are associated and considered reciprocally influential with mood, temperament, personality, disposition and motivation. Biologically they’re influenced by hormones and neurotransmitters such as dopamine, noradrenaline, serotonin, oxytocin, cortisol and GABA. (And sometimes they influence those very same hormones and neurotransmitters.)
How do emotions impact retail sales decisions? What about online? B2B?
How do they not? Emotions are at the core of every decision we make. (We don’t suddenly become unemotional robotoids when we go online or deal business to business.)
