CANBERRA (Boscutti Report) — One Nation defector Fraser Anning has dismissed speculation he’ll join Queensland maverick MP Bob Katter’s party.
Mr Anning, who quit One Nation the day he was sworn in to the upper house, said he was keeping his options open.
‘Of course the Nationals have put an offer on the table,’ he said.
’But I’m still waiting for the Liberals to bring their chequebook.’
Mr Anning cut himself loose from Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party to sit as an independent on the Senate crossbench in November. He replaced Malcolm Roberts in the Senate after he was caught up in the dual citizenship saga.
