Boscutti Report - Dutton readies to privatise border security

CANBERRA (Boscutti Report) — Home Affairs Minister Peter Dutton has promised to modernise Australia’s border security system to deal with a massive and growing number of immigrants.

Mr Dutton said the Department of Home Affairs is seeking a private-sector partner to design, build and operate a commercial ‘user-pays’ border force.

‘Anyone will be able to sign-up and get any gun they like,’ he said.

‘It’ll be like game hunting for refugees.’
