Making data visible

Bruce Mau believes we must measure what we want to change.

But measurement alone is not enough, however. We must present the changes we have quantified in a way that people can easily understand and share.

A compelling visual interface defines a problem for everyone to see, and it charts progress as solutions are developed and implemented.

By making data visible and patterns meaningful, we can see how to contribute to the process of change.
