Scenes from the coast: Rays of golden light

Up in the sky, it’s like a miracle.

The sun is setting and the clouds above the horizon have heaved and shifted and parted to create a giant sun-filled crucifix, steaming rays of golden light.

It’s only for a moment.

And then it’s gone.
